With the mission of “Animal Health Experts, Serving For Human Health”, DHN is committed to the development, production and promotion and application of high-tech, ecological, green and environment-friendly animal health products.
By the end of 2020, after asset restructuring, the main body is Zhaoqing Dahuanong Biology Medicine Co., Ltd., with subsidiaries including Guangdong Wens Dahuanong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Xinxing Dahuanong Poultry Egg Co., Ltd., Foshan Standard Bio-tech Co., Ltd. and etc. DHN manages fours production bases with the internationally advanced technical level – Guangdong Zhaoqing National High-tech District, Wens Science Park in Xinxing County, Yunfu City, Xincheng Industrial Park, and production base in Foshan Sanshui District, with more than 40 GMP production lines accepted by the MARA We also have an experimental animal center with an annual output of 1.2 million SPF eggs. DHN has obtained production licenses for more than 50 vaccine products and holds over 400 production licenses for veterinary drugs and additives for poultry and livestock.
Currently, DHN has more than 1500 employees. We established a high-level R&D team of more than 100 people, which is led by academicians, professors, industrial experts and doctors. Dahuanong currently has over 1400 employees and has built a high-level R&D team of over 100 people led by academicians, professors, industry experts, and doctors. DHN holds 53 new veterinary drug certificates and nearly 200 patents. It has established several research platforms including the Key Laboratory of Veterinary Biological Product Technology of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Key Laboratory of Veterinary Biological Product Technology Research and Application of Guangdong Province, the Academician Expert Enterprise Workstation of Guangdong Province, the Enterprise Technology Center of Guangdong Province, and the "Biosafety Level Three (BSL-3) Laboratory" of Dahuanong. It also owns GCP test bases for target animals such as chickens, pigs, and aquatic animals, and GCP test bases for veterinary drugs.
At the same time, DHN has established long-term industry-university-research cooperation relationships with South China Agricultural University, Sun Yat-sen University, China Agricultural University, and other universities and research institutions. It has undertaken 56 provincial and above scientific research projects such as the National Torch Program, the National 863 Program, the National High-tech Industrialization Special Project for Green Agricultural Biological Products, and the National Agricultural Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Fund Project.
DHN has won the "National Advanced Collective of Professional and Technical Talents", "Guangdong Province Patent Gold Award", and "China Patent Excellence Award". Several projects have also won provincial and above science and technology progress awards. Among them, the project "Establishment and Promotion Application of Poultry Biological Safety System" won the "Ninth Five-Year" National Key Technology Research and Development Program Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award, the project "Research and Promotion of Avian Influenza Inactivated Vaccine" won the Second Prize of the National Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fishery Harvest Award and the First Prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Award. The projects "Avian Influenza Animal Model, Immune Mechanism and Vaccine Research and Promotion Application", "Research and Application of Veterinary Drug Raw Materials and Formulations" and "Innovation and Application of Key Technologies for Avian Influenza Early Warning and Prevention and Control" won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Guangdong Province. The project "Innovation and Application of New Antibacterial Raw Materials and Formulations for Animals" won the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress.
DHN's animal biological products, pharmaceutical preparations, feed additives, and Standard Coccidiosis are high-quality and have won wide recognition from the industry and customers. Our company has been recognized as one of the 'Top 10 in Veterinary Biologics' and 'Top 30 in Veterinary Drug Formulations.' Our products are chosen by major domestic farming enterprises and are also exported to countries like Egypt, Indonesia, and Vietnam in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, receiving recognition from international clients. We have garnered unanimous praise from both domestic and foreign governments, veterinary experts, and livestock enterprises.
DHN has first-class animal disease detection equipment, functional laboratories, and a diagnostic reagent workshop with African swine fever fluorescent PCR detection technology, avian leukemia virus ELISA antibody detection technology, etc. It can provide customers with full process services for animal disease prevention and control technology, including comprehensive experimental diagnosis and antibody detection of livestock and poultry diseases, vaccine quality testing and efficacy evaluation, a complete solution for breeding production and veterinary problems, advanced veterinary experimental technology training, new disease detection technologies, and related reagent kits’ R&D and evaluation.
