On the morning of November 11th, a signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement on the joint establishment of a Livestock and Poultry Disease Diagnostic Research Center between Wens Foodstuff Dahuanong Company and China Agricultural University was held at the College of Veterinary Medicine, China Agricultural University. Chen Rui'ai, Vice President of Wens Foodstuff and President of the Dahuanong Business Division, and Tian Jianhui, Executive Deputy Dean of the Institute of Science, Technology and Development at China Agricultural University, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties. The signing ceremony was witnessed by over 30 representatives from both sides, including Sun Qixin, President of China Agricultural University, Shen Jianzhong, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Dr. Li Yanpeng from Wens Foodstuff Dahuanong Company.
At the signing ceremony, Chen Rui'ai mentioned that Wens Foodstuff Group and China Agricultural University have a solid foundation for cooperation in areas such as animal genetics and breeding, animal nutrition, and animal disease prevention and control. She expressed the hope to work with the university to build a platform for mutual development, creation, and sharing, focusing on the construction of a public welfare platform. She emphasized the importance of cooperation in the training of talent for the prosperity of agriculture, actively promoting the transformation of the school's research team's intellectual property and technology achievements, deeply exploring new models of industry-university-research cooperation, and creating an innovative platform that integrates the Livestock and Poultry Disease Diagnostic Research Center with enterprises and local governments.
Academician Shen Jianzhong expressed his gratitude for the company's active exploration of innovative models for talent cultivation and discipline construction in collaboration with the college. He pointed out that since its establishment, the Livestock and Poultry Disease Diagnostic Research Center of China Agricultural University has played a significant role in the diagnosis, monitoring, prevention and control of animal diseases, development of diagnostic technologies and product research, and in supporting the training of undergraduate and graduate students in veterinary medicine. The diagnosis and prevention of livestock and poultry diseases are of great importance to the development of the veterinary industry. He hopes that both parties can further deepen their understanding, promote the complementary advantages of resources, and jointly create a new situation of win-win cooperation.
