On January 15th, a Party Day activitysymposium between the Dahuanong Business Division and the Faculty Party Branchof Veterinary Pharmacology from South China Agricultural University was held inthe second-floor conference room of Dahuanong.

Vice President Fang Binghu of the DahuanongBusiness Division, President Liu Yahong of South China Agricultural University,the Party Committee Secretary of the Veterinary College, Party BranchSecretaries from both sides, committee members, and party memberrepresentatives, a total of 40 people, attended the meeting. During themeeting, the school and enterprise held a plaque presentation ceremony for thejoint construction of the Party branch. They also discussed how to leverage theleading role of Party building and the pioneering leading role of the jointParty branch construction to better promote in-depth cooperation between Dahuanongand South China Agricultural University in industry, academia, and research.

President Liu Yahong of South ChinaAgricultural University pointed out that over the years, South ChinaAgricultural University has continued to carry out industry-academia-researchcooperation with Wens Foodstuff and its affiliated enterprises, which hasplayed a huge supporting role in promoting the common development of both sidesand has become a model for domestic school-enterprise cooperation. At present,the development of the animal husbandry has entered a new era, facing newchallenges and difficulties under new circumstances. Liu Yahong called on thefaculty and staff of the veterinary pharmacology discipline to take theopportunity of Party building leadership and joint Party branch construction tocultivate more outstanding Party members and backbone members, to give fullplay to the pioneering and exemplary role of Party members, to promote thecontinuous upgrading of school-enterprise industry-academia-researchcooperation, to establish a closer connection between academic research andproduction practice, to give full play to the supporting role of science andtechnology and talent, to truly solve practical production problems forenterprises, to be brave in taking responsibility, to take the lead inovercoming the core technical bottlenecks of the industry, to promote theimprovement of their own professional level and the development level ofenterprises, and to jointly promote the development of modern agriculture inour country, creating a model of Party organization school-enterprise co-construction.

Zhang Zhanji, Party Committee Secretary ofthe College of Veterinary Medicine at South China Agricultural University,pointed out that the co-construction of Party organizations will help toimprove the quality of teachers, promote the integration of teachers withpractical production, adjust scientific research ideas to meet social needs,and cultivate talents more suitable for enterprise demands. It is suggestedthat the "three meetings and one lesson" should be integrated withprofessional studies, and the forms of Party organization activities should bediversified.

Regarding the promotion of cooperation between the two parties in industry, academia, and research, Vice President Fang Binghu of the Dahuanong Business Division put forward two hopes: First, he hopes that specific content and plans for the co-construction of the Party branch will be formulated. In the construction of grassroots Party organizations and related industry-academia-research activities, Party members and officials of the Dahuanong Party branch should fully participate, help each other, and promote the smooth progress of the co-construction plan. Second, he hopes that through this co-construction of the Party branch, a deeper level of cooperation between Dahuanong and South China Agricultural University in industry, academia, and research will be promoted, creating more brilliant achievements.
