In order to motivate a broad range of scientific and technological workers to love and dedicate themselves to the cause of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, and to promote scientific and technological innovation and the promotion of technology in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine in our province, the Guangdong Provincial Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine has decided to jointly carry out the 7th Guangdong Provincial Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine Award (Dahuanong Cup) selection activity with Guangdong Wens Foodstuffs Dahuanong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., to commend scientific and technological workers who have made positive contributions to the development of animal husbandry in our province.
This year marks the seventh year of the "Society Award" selection and commendation activities. Compared with previous years, this year's plan remains unchanged in terms of the establishment of awards, the number of commendations, the objects of commendation, and the recommendation methods, and places more emphasis on aspects such as epidemic prevention and control technology, the reduction of veterinary antibiotic use technology, green breeding, rural revitalization, and contributions to scientific and technological innovation.
On January 4th, the event officially kicked off and is now accepting recommendations from all sectors of society, and we welcome relevant personnel to actively sign up to participate! The Guangdong Provincial Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine will establish a selection committee to select 10 outstanding animal husbandry and veterinary technology workers and 10 outstanding animal husbandry and veterinary technology promotion workers.
The Society will set up a special column to widely publicize the award winners on the Society's website, WeChat public account, video account, and other related media, and will hold an award ceremony at the "32nd Guangdong Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science and Technology Conference", awarding outstanding animal husbandry and veterinary technology workers and outstanding animal husbandry and veterinary technology promotion workers a reward of 3000 yuan/person.
