Chen Ruiai, the Chief Operating Officer of the group and Chairman of Dahuanong, and Vice President Wang Amin of Dahuanong, participated in the exchange.
During the meeting, Director Zheng Haixue introduced the research achievements and progress in new technology research that the Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute has made in the past two years. Secretary Wang Chengbin introduced the discipline construction and the plan for jointly cultivating innovative talents at the College of Animal Medicine and Biosecurity of Lanzhou University. Chairman Chen Ruiai expressed that the inactivated Newcastle disease vaccine (MG7 strain) for chickens, jointly developed by the company and the Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute in 2013, has been refined over ten years and obtained a new veterinary drug certificate last year, indicating a good start to the cooperation. It is believed that the integration and innovation of the four parties in the future will promote the core technology to achieve a leap from non-existence to excellence and lead to more fruitful results.
Through in-depth exchanges, all parties reached a consensus on the following points: First, to jointly develop vaccines for major livestock diseases with the Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute to promote the industrialization of technical achievements and solve technical problems in large-scale breeding production. Second, to jointly build a laboratory in Shenzhen to leverage the advantages of multidisciplinary integration and innovation to promote original basic research. Third, to establish a talent joint training mechanism guided by market demand through project research and development.
