At the meeting, Shen Chong, Deputy General Manager of the Financial Information Department of the Dahuanong Business Division, presented the "Dahuanong Business Division 2019 Financial Summary Report and 2020 Budget," and Wang Amin, General Manager of the Biological Medicine Company, delivered the report "Dahuanong Business Division 2019 Work Summary and 2020 Key Work Focus." The annual report pointed out that in 2019, the Dahuanong Business Division actively faced the new changes in the breeding pattern under the normalized situation of African swine fever. All cadres and employees faced difficulties, pioneered, and innovated, achieving a double harvest in business performance, and the "Fourth Five-Year Plan" was successfully concluded: First, marketing strategies were adjusted in a timely manner, exceeding the annual business targets; Second, new progress was made in key process research, enhancing the competitive advantage of products; Third, organizational system innovation was carried out to stimulate organizational vitality and improve management efficiency; Fourth, the level of workshop equipment automation was upgraded, and per capita production efficiency was significantly improved; Fifth, corporate culture construction was strengthened to enhance team cohesion.

In 2020, the country will fully implement the new version of the veterinary drug GMP management system, and the operation of compulsory immunization veterinary biological products will be liberalized; the comprehensive ban on antibiotics in feed and the restriction of antibiotics in drugs have become an inevitable trend, and the animal health industry will enter a period of technological iteration and transformation, as well as a period of industrial policy transformation. Facing new opportunities and challenges, the Dahuanong Business Division will take "innovative breakthroughs, enhancing competitiveness, and creating a new market situation" as the main line of work, do a solid job in various business operations, and effectively promote the revitalization plan of Dahuanong, laying a good foundation for the start of the "Fifth Five-Year Plan."

At the meeting, Chen Rui'ai summarized the highlights and effectiveness of the Dahuanong Business Division's work in 2019, analyzed the situation of the animal health industry in 2020, as well as the opportunities and challenges encountered, and arranged the key work for 2020. She pointed out that in 2019, the Dahuanong Business Division faced the impact of African swine fever, which had not been overcome in a century. It continuously summarized experience in prevention and control, took the initiative to adapt to the new situation, and promptly adjusted development strategies to seize opportunities, fully implement the group's work requirements, and exceed the annual business tasks and the "Fourth Five-Year Plan" development goals. The main achievements in the following six aspects were obtained: First, there were three operating units with an annual output value of nearly 100 million yuan, and two operating units with an output value of more than 500 million yuan in history, and the growth of domestic and foreign sales business reached a new high; Second, seizing the opportunity of demand for periodic prevention and control products, the sales volume of avian influenza vaccines, coccidiosis vaccines, and disinfectant products increased by more than 30%, highlighting product concentration and competitive advantage; Third, the establishment of the biological medicine marketing center laid a good foundation for exploring new market patterns; Fourth, new patterns of cooperative business were developed, promoting the establishment of joint ventures for pets, plant herbs, and vaccine research and development, filling the gaps in new businesses, new technologies, and new markets of Dahua Agriculture, and extending the industrial chain; Fifth, the implementation of "one industry, one policy" and internal pressure mechanisms led to the completion of targets; Sixth, the "Fifth Five-Year Plan" of Dahua Agriculture was formulated, clarifying the company's medium and long-term development direction, and clarifying the goals for each operating unit in terms of equipment upgrading, team building, and capacity building.
Chen Rui'ai emphasized that 2020 is the first year of the "Fifth Five-Year Plan" for the Dahuanong Business Division, with opportunities greater than challenges. The Dahuanong Business Division will closely focus on the main line of work of "innovative breakthroughs, enhancing competitiveness, and creating a new market situation" to achieve the goal of "two breakthroughs, two new patterns, and two capacity constructions" by doing the following six aspects of work: First, increase investment in scientific research, gather top talents, innovate scientific research management mechanisms, and achieve new breakthroughs in products and technologies; Second, leverage the strength of market departments at all levels, strengthen product segmentation, and achieve new breakthroughs in external product markets; Third, improve the management mechanism of joint venture enterprises, give play to their respective advantages, fully integrate resources, and achieve a new pattern of development for cooperative units; Fourth, innovate scientific research incentives, accelerate the output and production transformation of results, promote the sharing of results to create benefits again, and achieve a new pattern of internal pressure management and assessment mechanisms; Fifth, strengthen the construction of informationization, intelligent equipment upgrading, and operational capacity to adapt to the needs of the "Fifth Five-Year Plan" industrial scale expansion; Sixth, strengthen the capacity building of functional departments and operating units, and improve the quality and operational level of the team.

At the meeting, Group President Yan Jiran affirmed the achievements made by the Dahuanong Business Division in 2019 and summarized the highlights of the division's work in seven aspects: significant increases in single-product sales through strategic adjustments, prominent core advantages in technological innovation and products, notable effects of organizational and systemic innovations, improved business management capabilities by learning from excellent models, promotion of new project development through partnership systems, and increased equipment levels leading to cost savings and efficiency improvements. Yan Jiran emphasized that in 2020, the Dahuanong Business Division should focus on the following four areas of work: First, increase investment in scientific research, including funding, talent cultivation and recruitment, research platform and equipment upgrades, and improvement of incentive mechanisms to produce higher-quality products and enhance benefits; Second, continuously upgrade production equipment to reduce labor costs and achieve mechanization and intelligentization; Third, persistently innovate marketing models in sales, develop incentive policies based on different products to motivate personnel; Fourth, promote the development of partnership projects in management, introduce the "Amoeba" management model in line with business practices, establish incentive policies, decompose target tasks at all levels, stimulate team vitality, maximize the performance of business units, and ensure the achievement of overall business objectives.
