Academician Guan Yi of Guangdong Experimental Animal Society visited Dahuanong to exchange and give guidance

On February 12,2022, the President of the Guangdong Experimental Animal Society, Academician Guan Yi, the Executive Vice President Professor Cai Weibin, the Secretary-General and Director of the Guangdong Experimental Animal Monitoring Institute, Researcher Zhu Caiyi, and other leaders, along with experts and scholars from various disciplines, visited Dahuanong for exchange and guidance. The Chairman of Dahuanong, and Vice President of the Guangdong Experimental Animal Society, Chen Ruiai, accompanied them throughout and participated in the 7th Council Work Meeting of the Guangdong Experimental Animal Society held at Dahuanong.

Academician Guan Yi and his delegation visited the Dahuanong Exhibition Hall, the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture, the diagnostic reagent workshop and the avian flu P3 workshop, and highly recognized Dahuanong's long-term work in animal disease prevention and control, industrialization, transformation and application of achievements, and active participation in the construction of experimental animal science and technology innovation platform. It is hoped that Dahuanong will continue to support and promote the development of experimental animal cause, jointly build and share experimental animal platforms and resources, promote the research and development and industrial application of animal disease prevention and control products, apply the genetic modification and immunology of experimental animals to provide scientific and technological innovation support for healthy animal breeding, and contribute to national biosafety.
