On the morning of February 14th, the 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Work Conference of Dahuanong was held in Zhaoqing. The conference was chaired by Chen Rui'ai, the director of the Key Technology Professional Committee of the Animal Health Industry. Member Fang Binghu, in his comments and guidance, stated that in 2022, the company strengthened team building and stimulated vitality through the reform of the technical system, winning the first prize of the Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award, obtaining one Category I new veterinary drug, and a series of key technical achievements, which helped to promote the high-quality development of the business through the transformation of achievements. He hopes that R&D personnel will continue to focus on the following six tasks: First, strengthen epidemiological surveys and the domestication of prevalent strains; Second, enhance the quality of new veterinary drug registration and application; Third, strengthen the construction of R&D teams and assessment mechanisms; Fourth, enhance the construction of R&D platforms and the protection of core technologies; Fifth, enhance the ability to transform products and technologies to empower business development; Sixth, strengthen the joint research on major common technologies.

Director Chen Rui'ai emphasized in his guiding speech that technological drive is an important means and path to achieve high-quality development, and Dahuanong has fully launched the "345" project, which has been highly recognized by the board of directors and the chairman of the group. He hopes that the research team will focus on the "345" project to create a technological driving force and achieve leading innovative goals. First, continue to increase investment in scientific research funds, strive to achieve the overall goal of scientific and technological innovation and leading innovative indicators in 2023, transform the three core technologies of "subunits, new adjuvants, and bio-fermentation" into advantages of large-scale application, and promote the extension of the industrial chain to enhance competitiveness. Second, the research team should strengthen "cross-disciplinary" thinking and innovation in interdisciplinary disciplines, shaping a vision and pattern of "looking outward, looking forward, and looking far." Third, use the three characteristics of "benchmarking, competitiveness, and leading" as the evaluation criteria for project initiation, strengthen the evaluation of project readiness, promote scientific and technological innovation at the hundred million level, and enter the billion-level scientific and technological innovation. Fourth, adopt the "1+1+N" model, led by the Key Technology Professional Committee of the Animal Health Industry, driven by the general managers of the three-level units, and the various R&D teams in conjunction with external platforms, to strengthen the industrialization of technical achievements and innovation in clinical technical services, accelerate the market launch of products needed, consolidate technological competitiveness, and enhance market competitiveness.
