DHN Business Division is one of the four business divisions of Wens Foodstuff Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Wens Company", stock code: 300498).With the mission of “being an animal health expert and serving human health”, Dahuanong is committed to the development, production and promotion and application of high-tech, ecological, green and environment-friendly animal health products.
The management units of DHN Business Division include Guangdong Wens Dahuanong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Zhaoqing Dahuanong Biology Medicine Co., Ltd., Animal Health Products Factory, Foshan Standard Biotech Co., Ltd.and etc. It manages fours production bases with the internationally advanced technical level – Guangdong Zhaoqing National High-tech Zone, Wens Science Park in Xinxing County, Yunfu City, Xincheng Industrial Park, and production base in Foshan Sanshui District, owns 40 GMP production lines passing the acceptance by the Ministry of Agriculture and the experimental animal center with an annual output of 1.2 million SPF eggs.The sales revenue in 2018 was about RMB 1.5 billion.
Currently, DHN Business Division has more than 1500 employees, forming a high-level R&D team composed of more than 100 people leading by academicians, professors, industrial experts and doctors. It has owned 34 veterinary drug licenses, nearly 200 patents, and set up many scientific research platforms, such as MOA Key Laboratory of Biotechnology and Product Making for Prevention and Control of Animal Disease, Guangdong Key Enterprise Laboratory of Technology Research and Application of Veterinary Biological Products, Guangdong Enterprise Workstation with Academician and Expert, Guangdong Enterprise Technology Center, “Biosafety Third-level (BSL-3) Laboratory” joinly built by Dahuanong and Sun Yat-sen University.The company has undertaken more than 20 scientific research projects above provincial level, such as the National Torch Program, National 863 Plan, National Special Project on High-tech Industrialization of Green Agricultural Biological Products and National Fund Conversion Project of Agricultural Science and Technology Achievement. Many of them have been conferred the Science and Technology Progress Award above provincial level. For instance, the Establishment and Application of Poultry Bio-safety System Project has won the Excellent Scientific and Technological Achievement Award of the National Key Scientific and Technological Research Program in the Ninth Five-Year Plan. The Development and Promotion of Inactivated Vaccine of Avian Influenza Project has won the Second Prize of National Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Harvest Award and the First Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award. The Animal Model of Avian Influenza, its Immune Mechanisms and Vaccine Development and Application Project and the Development and Application of Veterinary Drug Materials and Preparation Project have won the First Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award.
The “Dahuanong” veterinary biological products, veterinary drug preparations, feed additives and coccidiosis vaccines from Standard and other products are excellent in quality, which have won the wide acknowledgement from both the industry and our customers. Dahuanong is not only the supplier of Wens Group, CP Group, Cofco Group, Sunner Group, Liuhe Group and other domestic giants in breeding, but also the excellent supplier in Egypt, Indonesia, Vietnam and other Middle East and Southeast Asia regions. Our brand has been recognized by foreign customers, and have been unanimously praised by domestic and foreign governments, veterinary experts and animal husbandry enterprises.
In the future, we will continue to strengthen the research and development of new technologies and products making for high-tech vaccines and drugs.
